Monthly Meetups
HPDC hosts regular Second Wednesday gatherings, bringing together interior designers, showroom representatives, and trade professionals for informal networking and community connection. Check the Calendar for upcoming dates.
The High Point Design Center serves as a year-round destination for design trade professionals seeking luxury home furnishings and curated showroom experiences. Interior designers, architects, specifiers, and builders working across residential and commercial projects find a concentrated resource of high-end product lines and material samples. The center's environment is designed to support informed decision-making, with each showroom offering distinct collections that range from classic to contemporary. Regular gatherings and networking opportunities further strengthen the professional community, making the center not just a marketplace but a hub for creative collaboration and ongoing education within the interior design industry.
Monthly meetups held on the second Wednesday of each month provide a consistent opportunity for designers and showroom representatives to connect informally. These gatherings foster relationships that extend beyond transactional interactions, encouraging the exchange of ideas, project referrals, and professional support. The relaxed atmosphere allows attendees to explore showroom offerings at their own pace while engaging with peers who share similar challenges and aspirations. Whether one is a seasoned professional or new to the trade, these events offer a welcoming entry point into the broader design community that the center cultivates throughout the year.
The showroom association behind the High Point Design Center ensures that member showrooms maintain a consistently high standard of product curation and client service. By centralizing access to luxury furnishings, textiles, lighting, and accessories, the center simplifies the specification process for busy professionals. Designers can compare materials, finishes, and construction quality across multiple vendors within a single visit, saving valuable time. The association also coordinates educational programming and industry events that keep members informed about emerging trends, sustainable practices, and innovations in manufacturing, reinforcing the center's role as a vital resource for the design trade.
Full-bleed nature photography and a clean sans-serif typographic hierarchy define the visual identity of the center's communications, reflecting a modern utilitarian aesthetic. The palette pairs near-black headers and footers with crisp white content areas, accented by a vibrant lime green used for buttons and highlighted text. Generous horizontal padding on text blocks creates a spacious reading experience, while thin border outlines on buttons and flat color dividers between sections maintain a sharp, uncluttered look. This design approach mirrors the center's own philosophy of pairing high-end luxury with straightforward functionality, inviting visitors to focus on the quality of the products and the strength of the professional community.
